This is how the ladies night works.
1. You will be assigned a court number and play 3 sets with a different partner each set.
2. Keep the score of each set
3. The two players, including spares, who have the highest scores will move up a court the following week
4. The two players, including spares, who have the lowest scores will move down a court the following week.
5. Cancellation less than 24 hours will be placed at the end of the waiting list for the following week.
6. No show will be eliminated from the list.
7. Coming back from missing a week, you will be placed 1 court below where you were supposed to be. An exception to this rule will apply to spares who miss a week because they are not needed; when they return they will be assigned based on their performance the last time that they spared. If they miss a week in which they were assigned as a spare and cancel, then the rule that applies to regular players will apply to them.
8. I can’t promise you up and down court movement every week, it depends on who and how many players are coming back from missing weeks.
9. Coming in for the first time, you, including spares, will be placed on court #6
10. Each player is responsible for bringing at least 2 cans of new balls over the playing season, and a loonie each game to give to the player who opens a new can.
11. Any player arriving more than 15 minutes late will, the next time she plays the ladder, be assigned a lower court than she would have been assigned based on her score that evening
IMPORTANT THING IS TO HAVE A GOOD TIME.This is a chance to mix and mingle with ladies with whom you don't usually play...have fun! If you have any comments, please let me know by e-mailing to jbooks99@telus.net ...or e-mail me if you're looking for information about the ladder.
